The macadamia brown will look good on the Chevelle, Jody. Good choice.
|
Loving the choice of brown, don't see a lot of the BMW's in that shade but when you do it looks great. With the black and polished bits I'm thinking it's going to look great! Now about the interior color....
Let me know what you end up with for a shop chair. I just picked up a lift with a 11'6" ceiling and will need to come up with something. |

The BMW color is great, flops to a bronze in the sunlight, still looks like an ‘old car’ color, love it!

My garage in Az has a 11'4" ceiling. I'm 6'2" and can stand up under cars on the lift.

Thanks for the info fellas. My vehicle situation is a lil different than most on here though. I’m 4wd swapping a 69 F series Ford and while it won’t be huge, it is a bit taller than a lowered muscle car.
I’ll keep working on the domestication of the wife and see what we can get done. Like her father, she’s built for smaller spaces. :D |

Everyone said the same when we painted my dad’s 57 Brown. Now everyone loves it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
No updated pics yet, but I've heard through the grapevine that Jim has the bodywork done and is on his third round of blocking. He'll wait until the weather warms up a bit, but should be ready to spray color in 3-4 months.

2026 the year the Chevelle steals the show. Who's doing the interior?

Slick & nice gaps!

The interior and body work look great. Wish I was that far along.
Hope to see more updates on this one. Bill |
Time for an update :secret:

No new pics from the painter yet. Last month the bodywork was done and he was on the second round of blocking the car. He plans to shoot it in a couple months when it's warmer.
