Some Jalops are pretty biased against american cars. Lots of positive comments though. Seems like most of the negs were from Facebook whiners who b*tch about everything.

Damm run the belt......:unibrow: :hail:

notorious1970 05-03-2009 10:07 AM

its on the edge of insanity with the belt. Probably back the boost down just a little. That way the motor will last and it will be more controllable

What is process of getting Troy to do a project like? Can you provide some insight into the planning and timeline?

schedule a place in place in line and be prepared to pay six figures up to seven figures for a Ridler quality car.

Still happy that I got to work on this one,Also one of the nastiest sounding cars out there

86Cutlass383SR 06-30-2009 08:32 PM

I saw this car at GoodGuys Indy. Pictures CAN NOT do this car justice! So many mods to this car, you could stare at it for hours any still not catch them all.

Awesome car! :hail:

notorious1970 07-06-2009 10:08 PM

Thanks guys for the comments. I was out at indy with my brothers and talked to a lot of people out there about it. We finally took delivery of the car and are running the supercharger belt at all times and loving it!! You should see a 50+ mph pull in this thing... one word NASTY!

Look for it in popular hotrodding september issue. If your in the chicago burbs and hit any of the local shows, chances are you will see it.

Wow...the more we see and hear of this car the better.

What's the minimum level of motor needed to utilize a F2?

69496 07-07-2009 04:47 PM

I know I could find it somewhere but does anyone recall the rear tire size?

OLDFLM 07-07-2009 07:14 PM

Rear Tire

295/45/18... works GREAT on the car IMHO!!!

I like a little more sidewall on a muscle car...

I agree. I have been trying to find a tire size that I like and that just looks perfect.

69496 07-08-2009 10:48 AM

Ok I am looking for this tire and can't find it. Is it the T/A kdw. That's what I see on the sidewall but when I look it up the tread doesn't match and I don't see the 295/45/18 size. Can somebody help me?!!

If I recall correctly, the fronts are KDW's but the rears are a tire that's been discontinued for awhile now...

During the build they said that there were only a handful of those tires left.

SickSpeedMonte 07-09-2009 05:41 AM

Maybe I missed it... but how do you keep the belt on the super charger when its mounted to the core support? Solid motor mounts and solid core support body mounts?

I went with Falken's 615 series... 295/40/18 out back... 27" tall. PERFECT! For the look I wanted anyway...

some rolling action

A buddy of mine took some footage of us on our way to a car show over the holiday weekend. Put over 100 miles on the car that day! Some new updates to the car are that we are now running mickeys in the rear (still have the bfg's). Also RR added a lower grill under the front bumper for extra cooling, it looks great!

http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...vasupercar.jpg

enjoy!
