Took my Big, Heavy, Old, outdated, dinosaur of a tunnelport sideoiler over to the shop now that I'm ready to set it in the chassis for fitment. :D I set it on one of my scales while I was there just for fun.:popcorn2:

Time to get yer scales cali-brated.

I'd just wedge section the entire car right down the middle - take about 6 inches out of it -- then whack it door to door about a foot….

Or you could just buy a '69 Camaro.

I know it hurts you to read it but the scale is right. You better get used to being disappointed by the lack of big numbers:mock:

The two drop tops I owned had cowl shake so bad you'd loose the steering wheel if not held tightly with both hands….

The Z/28 Coupes I owned were all the "matching numbers" variety so they're "untouchable"…. and that whole thing gets real boring real fast unless you can afford to own the uber versions…

I'm a fan of cheap cars I can just beat on - drive - and move on when I'm ready. Oh - except if there's a "30" in the year -- then I want ultra expensive kit cars that I can sell for 35K or so when I'm done with 'em.

Yep.

The stand the motor is on is probably 15 so subtract that to get 360lbs starting weight.

The Findanza flywheel is 14lbs
My CVR waterpump is 5.8 lbs and the adapters are another 3.
My 3G alt is 15.4 lbs
RST clutch and pressure plate are 22.5lbs.
PS pump I'm not sure but maybe 15lbs.
Holley carb 13 lbs

Most the oil is back in the tank.

That's 82 lbs + maybe another 5 to 7 for the AL brackets.

So it should be right about 450 or a little less.

Need to add headers though they might as well count as part of the motor.

Rob, that's impressive. I never would have thought the engine would be that low weight, even with all the alum..
I have a few small parts for the dash if you need something. I won't be using on my car. Let me know what you may need, free to good home.
I also have a few exterior parts.
