I just added it to my Summit Racing Shopping cart Blair 11090 - Blair Equipment Rotabroach Cutter Kits https://www.summitracing.com/parts/brc-11090 http://shop.blairequipment.com/Fract...it-p/11090.htm |
For half that money harbor freight step drills.
This https://www.harborfreight.com/2-piec...lls-96275.html Plus this https://www.harborfreight.com/3-piec...lls-91616.html gets you a wider range of hole size, automatic hole deburring, no fear of walking off the center punch like the blairs do, and the smaller sizes clip into impact drivers like my Milwaukee M12 90* driver and can get is some tight places. I like the Blair cutter in a drill press, though. Either is better than a drill bit. Drill bits don't drill round holes and are just nasty on sheet metal. |
RotaBroaches and HF.
Donny is on the money.
HarborFreight step drills are bullet proof.....I'm ten years into them as a full time fabricator. Deburring for free, all sizes in one handful, and ROUND holes. I'm sure Wurth and SnapOff are made in the same factory but six times the price. YES....RotaBroaches in DRILL PRESS or MILLING MACHINE ONLY! They work great in a lathe too but be careful it doesn't jam. Careful the swarf comes off in all directions (not one direction like lathe tool). |
X3 on the harbor freight step drills. It's one of a few things they sell that works, lol
|
I'm a fan of Blair hole saws too - or Milwaukie hole saws. None of the rest seem to last.

Thank You Thank You
I love this forum and I am off to Harbor Freight & might as well get some Taco's since it it right down the street. Quote:

My OCD Got The Best of Me (06-13-21)
So I just don't like how the wire look coming out of the firewall so here we go again.
The tape is coming off and more to come later on the wire harness http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...098b235-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...23312e0-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...012c8bd-me.jpg A couple more notes. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...5336280-me.jpg |
Took a Couple Days Off and a Good Friend Stopped by Today (06-19-21)
At some point I removed the Tech-Flex wire wrap to expose the wires so I could run them in the direction I wanted them to go.

Lower Dash Bracket (06-19-21)
Quick stop at O'Reilly's Autoparts for some vacuum hose which will be getting installed soon.
http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...88cd824-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...9457428-me.jpg At some point I need to mock up the fitting that go under the manifold. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...f0c7bf8-me.jpg Lower Dash Brackets have been located and now it is time to finally install them. I hope the ECU wires don't run into this bracket. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...54655d6-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...1d93080-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...3e28604-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...f932b02-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...17fef7d-me.jpg |
Holley ECU Wiring, Yes there is more !! ( 06-22-21 )
So does anyone have the module to the DSE Wiper Harness as mine seems to be missing.
http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...bd428e7-me.jpg Running more wires over to the passenger side kick panel. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...02fe69e-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...98ba497-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...e21705b-me.jpg Made another hole for the wires. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...79bd0bb-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...c2a2535-me.jpg Since I had room I moved the ECU up about an inch. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...8aa1c15-me.jpg |
