430 cubes

609 ft lbs @ 6000 rpm
92 octane
10.8:1 compression
185 lbs spring pressure for durability

The heart of this and why I had to have it was the 2006 era Joe Gibbs Racing SB2.2 heads.

This is the exact motor that got me interested in the SB2 stuff back 7-8 months ago when it was first listed.... sale fell through and it was relisted recently so I snatched it up. Most of the parts are upgrades over what I was putting in my 386 anyway. Will have it shipped to Watson Racing and have them check it over and dyno it here on 91 octane. Can't wait.

Guess it's time to start working on getting the chassis under this car.

Anyone need some good SBC short block and top end parts? :unibrow:

Very good. Someone paid attention. I will get on it soon when I actually get all the rest of the details... waiting for fax from engine builder... I got enough so far to be comfortable... and dangerous. :thumbsup:

That new engine is badass. Are you going uber race car and running the plate, or are you going to use motor mounts?

I hadn't checked in on this thread in a while, but it looks as though the snowball effect is in full force! Awesome! :D Congrats on all the good stuff happening!

Sweet Race Engine, How many FPG( feet per gallon) you gonna get out of this thing??? just tricking, really nice engine, should be fast. cant wait for more updates.:thumbsup:
