Plenty of room to seal off the cowl panel and install a set of shallow mount speakers.

All the little Stuff that you still have to do ( 07-31-21 )

I wanted to start with an easy task so I labeled a few more wires under the dash.

http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...3dde20a-me.jpg

Then I moved onto the Holley Trans relay wiring.

This will end up getting it's power from the power lug in the passenger side cowl panel.

I can finally remove a Blue Tape Note.

Just a couple wires on the new power lug.

I still have to come back and make everything look pretty.

KD Hot Rods Radiator Hoses ( 07-31-21 )

So Kenny built these awesome steel hoses that I will most likely use.

However, when I had the Guys @ High Speed Welding redo the upper and lower water necks the upper is about a 1/2 inch to long.

I will need to address this at some point.

Lower hose just needs the Mr. Gasket swivel water neck and we are good to go.

Marty I have something to make cleaning the spots for the grounds a lot easier. I got these from YARDSTORE.com they are bonding brushes the come in different diameters and tip sizes. some have threaded ends but will still work in the drill. they're only $3-$4 each. They work great on powder coating.

Remember all those Yellow Wires ( 08-07-21 )

So you remember all those yellow wires well they need to go somewhere.

Which means I need to drill another hole in my freshly painted firewall.

http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...7e2f9fa-me.jpg

Just in case you someone else needs to do the same here is the grommet I used..

http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...591ae2a-me.jpg

If you have been following along I had a close call with the drill bit hitting the wire harness.

So this time I removed the blue wire that is passing through the firewall.

I connected two of the wires to the ECU as I will be using them to trigger the Fan and to turn off the A/C if it is running (still need help with this one).

I am starting to like the aesthetics of the wiring harness ( 08-12-21 )

Admitting you have is the first step and I have realized that I have a problem with the wiring. So I am going to keep playing with it till I get it to look the way I want it.

Playing with the Injector Harness

So I have a question for Holley. Why on Gods Green Earth does the Cylinder head ground wire need to be 18" long when it is only 4" away from the dang bolt they want you to connect it to. Then why would they give a ring terminal that is way to freaking big for the wire.

http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...19f9004-me.jpg

Second complaint. Seriously these fitting would be nice great if you could actually use them. If you actually tried to connect a hose to them it wouldn't allow you to bolt the intake manifold to the heads as it holds the intake up 1" because they hit the valley cover.

I installed 1/4" Tech Flex wrap since the 1/8" Split Loom wrap isn't available right now. But heck by the time I finish this car they might offer 1/16" wrap.

Holley Fuel Pump Relay ( 08-17-21 )

I am installing a relay in the trunk for the Holley In-Tank pump. I decided to purchased
an extra relay that I will keep in the car just have a back up for road trips.

http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...cefe00d-me.jpg

Remember my complaint about needing a ring terminal for the Cylinder Head Ground wires. I finally
found someone that had them in stock and it wasn't Amazon It was Ebay. I have extra's if anyone needs a set.
