The tool he used to make those is called a bead roller. Here is a recent thread on the subject: Please explain how this metal forming technique is done! |
I wish that's all it was to it was to stamp metal. Then I'd buy a slew of stamps instead of learning the skill of using a bead roller. Jason, the owner of War, is the Michael Jordan of using a bead roller.

Man... That is one Sweet car....
:hail: :hail: |
Where is the finished product? I see alot of under belly shoots. With a build like that it seems that you have alot of details that will never be seen. Nice work I must say. Now lets see the final car. Lose the front spoiler.

[QUOTE=War;387261]Sadly, the project is unfinished. You see, I am extremly short ( and have a very small penis) and am limited to only working on the parts of the car I can reach. However, after reading your post I am inspired to resume working on her again. Last night I rolled it back into the shop ( I don't date much) and started the process of unbolting the front spoiler. This work I could reach with ease and what a difference it made. I am now designing and fabricating an eloborate scaffold system around the car to begin the many exterior modifications I have.
Jason your my idle!! :hail: Maybe you should have this kind gentleman stop by and give you some fabrication and styling pointers . Because you clearly suck at this fabrication stuff!!!! (DB) |
Hey jason are you holding out on me? I know this thread better than anyone as you know. I'm still lookin for the front spoiler you need to remove?
|
Jason would you like to stand on my shoulders. That way you could reach the part's of the car you need to finish. That would save some much need money for a penis enlargement. :unibrow:

Just read this whole thread. I don't wanna build my truck anymore. I feel like quitting. Jason, your fab and welding skills are something else. If I start practicing now I should be able to duplicate your stuff when I reach the age of
about 294 years old. :D Well, heres hopin science does some cool stuff soon. |

The underside is incredible. I would just clear coat it.

No.... Josh.... YOU'D coat it with tire rubber... from doing burnouts! :unibrow: |
Put the car together then take it to a show running in bare metal, Then tell people you learned how to do all that by looking at websites

Let's get this remarkable thread back on track!
Jason, what's on the War fab agenda for Jan/Feb? :lateral: |
Incredible! I can't even imagine the level of patience and talent required to put together a rolling work of art. Can't wait for more pictures.
