Fuel Pump Wiring Concept ( 09-23-21 )
Time to run some wires
http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...07cef5a-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...bf2cf81-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...0ff5d3f-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...ee192c9-me.jpg I plan to install a weather pack connector in this location so if I have to remove the tank it will be easy to access. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...eede6e9-me.jpg Back in the trunk to make sure the wires coming out of the tank are long enough. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...decba3c-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...6452a37-me.jpg More parts ( 10-05-21 ) http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...b73b646-me.jpg Weld studs are installed I will clean up the excess once it dries or is it hardens. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...7a789ff-me.jpg |
ICT LS Bypass Hose ( 10-06-21 )
My plan is to start the car up before I make the final "Wet" connection to the motor. So I ordered this little hose that ICT Billet offer so I can bypass the Vintage Air.
http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...8495f37-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...3f1b447-me.jpg Not sure why I took this picture but I like it. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...92aa649-me.jpg Tank is going back in and I am going to finalize the wiring to the Fuel Pump and sending unit. ( 10-09-21 ) http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...87b4b87-me.jpg I stepped the shrink wrap so the grommet would stay in place. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...dd85930-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...87d9dac-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...6e10af6-me.jpg I also saved and labeled an extra grommet just in case I needed one later. Yes, I am building a service kit for the car that I will stow in the trunk. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...5daf47e-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...dcf31e9-me.jpg I also ran the wires around the tank. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...f5a3366-me.jpg So it looks like I need to add one more Weld Stud...Ugh !!! http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...ee7661c-me.jpg I finally received the fitting I need to connect the Fuel Pressure Sensor to the Fuel Rail. I am sorry I don't really like it as it has to many points that could leak. http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...0d1be61-me.jpg |

https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-jm1e...564193.jpg?c=1 You could save one fitting by using an adaptor that goes from male AN ORB to male an. That would screw directly into the rail, replacing the one separate fitting on the right. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/...AC_SL1500_.jpg |
So I found this fitting that allows me to thread it right into the fuel rail
http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...71b8dee-me.jpg http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...0534061-me.jpg It's just a hair shorter then using the hodgepodge setup I started with. However, I really like the sensor aiming down as it sticks way out. Any chance you happen to know the part number of the fitting you posted ?? http://www.garagescene.net/_data/i/u...f29f1c7-me.jpg Quote:
