Love that dash! Does the screen in the middle open or anything? Great job, can't wait to see it done. My first car was a '67 Chevy II that I still have, you can't beat the body style!

Thanks Tony !
Robbie.... the car has no stereo and without one that center area was too plain. It does not open. Its a fixed accent piece for now.

The "mesh" was an idea I had for a while and just couldnt find the right project for it. After some thought we decided to powdercoat the perforated mesh and use the white leather as a background. I am very happy with the result. I can only take credit for the idea and colors. My long time upholsterer Mike gets ALL the execusion credit not to mention perfecting my idea.

Here are some detail photos:

As mentioned, Clayton Machine really came through with providing us with the 1st set of Black Anodized door and window handles. This shows the attention to detail and how everything that was previously planned is finally coming together. It almost looks like it was meant to be this way

Not much to update on.... we've been busy doing tedious items like laying dynamat, wiring etc. But I did get it outside for a few quick shots.....

I love this thread. The car looks great.

Thanks Shannon..... I would love to show how I wired up your remote trunk but we did it so stealth that there is NO trace of ANY wires !
We were able to snake it down the lid, into the trunk hinge, down the backside of the wheel well, across the lower package tray and then down the trans tunnel. We have a really trick idea for the button mount inside the center console.... you will be happy !
For now.... here are some pics:

The battery will be hidden from view once upholstered. Therefor I made a shut off switch mounting plate that will also act as a structural brace once the upholstery panels are layed against them vertically. On the opposite side of the trunk (out of view) I mounted Remote Battery Terminals for charging.
