And a BIG thanks to Pascual!! :hail: |
Pete, are you going to be covering the install on the panels? Not sure how you attach these things and what size speaker fits in the panels.
|
Panel install
A thread on the install would be nice. Have these in my 67 and my interior guy did an awesome job but said that they required a fair amount of massaging. The speaker size was 6 1/4. I installed a set of Focals. Really made the stereo system energized than just by having 6x9 in rear. Marquez did a really fine job in designing the panels.

i tried looking but gave up, what wheels are those? sorry if you said it, ive found tire size and everything else but nothing on the wheels. thanks.

Hey Pete, now that I am laid off and have some "spare-time", is it cool if I come down and check out the operation and get a close up look of KARMA & ORANGE KRATE?
Let me know. Thanks! |
New parts from Modo Innovations!!!
I owe Shannon from Modo Innovations a HUGE than you! He sent over his newly designed pedal covers. They are of a one piece design, coated, and very functional! I really like this new design a lot!!
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...r68/MB1100.jpg This kind of shows the grip detail on the brake pedals. The gas pedal above has the accents machined into it (approximately .015”) so there are no grip issues so your foot won’t stick. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...r68/DETAIL.jpg I also sent him my raw aluminum Lokar gas pedal and he had it anodized to better match the clutch/brake pedals. It already has the Modo adaptor plate mounted to it in the pic. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...RINSTALLED.jpg He also sent one of his power trunk latch kits MI 800 with the updated catch. http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/e...wr68/MI800.jpg Thanks again Shannon!!  |

Damn Tony... Well, at least I'm taller than you. Gotta have something, right?
|

Yes. I did. If I didn't, that would make me less.... well... ME!!! lol...:D
|
I guess most of us can take solice in the fact that We are taller......sorry Tony I had to go there too...........
Anyway though, those look very nice, as long as the throttle pedal can be set at the right depth and space for proper heel/toe action. I liked the steel linkage of the stock gas pedal for that, very easy to heat and bend to get into the right position. |
Those look awesome Tony.
|
Thanks Tony. These new covers have been in the works on and off for about a year. They are powder coated in a textured satin black and they mount with black oxide stainless steel screws. A few surviving sets (long story) will be available soon. Also available for auto transmissions.
|
Any updates:_paranoid Pete sent you a PM....
|
Sorry, it's been a little slow with ever ones schedules trying to line up.
We are set up to do the paint tech at the end of April. That should put KRAMA heading back West the end of May. With all the things we are doing with KRAMA I think we'll see it was well worth the wait |
you tease !
|
AWESOME!!!

I am also looking for any updates/pictures. Tonys car and the whole mess of what he and the car went through before is the reason I joined Lat-G. So I am very excited to see updates. I would never have known of Lateral-G if it had not been for his car being mentioned in Camaro Performers along with a little bit of the back story. After I read everything on this site about that mess and how everyone jumped in to help I was just amazed (huge understatement). I knew then that this was the place to join, good people and some of the best builders and best cars on the planet. Why would anyone pass that kind of group up?

Since you are in Western Wa State you should come down when Karma makes it home! |
Hey Tony,
I would love to come down there for the "homecomming" ! I live in Stanwood, just north of Everett so the drive is not too bad. I have friends in Albany and Corvallis too. Where are you? Portland/Beaverton? What month are you shooting for to have it home? I thought I could make a side trip to the guys at Bruning and the Challenger project. Please let me know when you think your car might be back and I will make the trip for sure. It would be great to meet you and anyone else from the group that might be there, put faces to names you know... Thanks for the invite! Eric |
Eric, I'm in Hillsboro...just west of Beaverton. The car should be home late May early June...I'll let ya know!
|
Hillsboro, I did a bunch of work at the Intel plant there when it was being built (a long time ago....).
Great! Thanks for the info, I am looking forward to meeting you and seeing that bad a** car of yours! Eric |
