Yeah Ron, what are you up to?

Did you buy a stock pile of -AN fittings after selling the 911?

Matt

Hey Tom...great meeting you at RTTC! Thx for the props. Next time let's hang out a little more. The shot of your car at Adams on the course was killer...

Haha Matt. I think I'm almost up to 3k in fittings now!

Ok, so here's an update. It's starting to look like a car again. We let the car outside today to get a little fresh air:

http://i885.photobucket.com/albums/a...-33-32_843.jpg

Cris is finished w the hardcore fab and the firewall came out great. We're within an inch or so of final ride height, but don't take that to the bank just yet. I've been stockpiiing parts for the home stretch. Latest reseacrh project is a redo of the dry sump system. Talking to Jason at Katech, ARE and Avaid and I just need to stop being a girl and make up my mind. :D

Next update will be a doosey...

intocarss 04-06-2012 11:01 PM

Car looks good Ron. Are you dealing with Bill L over at Avaid?

Vegas69 04-06-2012 11:10 PM

I hope it's faster than the rest of the show pieces out of that place.:unibrow: :D :unibrow:

Yep. Those guys were in dry sumps when SBCs were new! They led me down the first route, but I'm looking at more stuff Katech and ARE are doing these days. At least the vette guys are good for something (Todd :D )

Tom.A 04-06-2012 11:33 PM

Rick D 04-07-2012 05:48 AM

Looking good Ron  But aren't you afraid you will scratch that pruuty paint when beating on it  The thought you have put in to this car is just amazing, do you plan to go after the big boys on the track or just have fun? Oh and one picture  Com'on man:cheers:

Car looks good on the ground..

It looks great Ron! With a radiator big enough to fill the opening you'll need to warn little children to stay away from the grill, they might get sucked in.
It looks excelent! Glad to see it getting closer.

Hey Rick! Thx for the props; I'm trying to think this through so it walks a fine line between PT street and track beast. 3m wrap is coming as soon as the car is safe to drive. As far as going after the big boys, this game is changing fast...almost a moving target. Watching Optima and even the recent RTTC there's some serious players out there. I'll be happy to get out there and work on the 'driver mod.'

I'm a buzz kill huh Frank? :D I'm sorry Bro, was in such a rush I took only one. There's a lot going on and still decisions to be made so I don't want to throw something up prematurely. I'll get a couple random plumbing pics up in a couple of days...

frankv11 04-08-2012 06:39 PM

Yeah Ron your killing me. If you want I'll go take some and post them up. Lol
So are you really going to dog this car on the track because I could imagine it will be a tough first ride.
