Rumor has it the car was painted with that new BASF track proof paint. It is guaranteed to with stands 240mph winds and even the occasional off track excursion. I'm not sure run ins jacks/jack stands? were one the things they covered.:_paranoid

I'm sure Mayhem will look killer at Autorama. Looking forward to seeing it again.

It is an air-oil separator I believe.

fleet 01-16-2013 12:56 PM

How many hours did it take to convert it to a '69 dash?

Thanks.

If you're asking about the tank next to the dry sump, I think it is for the coolant for the heat exchanger in the supercharger

Love that car, plan to hit any of our local track days?

GregWeld 05-07-2013 09:09 PM

You'd think a guy with that f'n many cars could figure out how to post up a GD photo.....

Even Jack can do it.

Oh --- about the cars......

They're okay if that's what you're in to.

Jr 05-07-2013 10:27 PM

Charlie,
Is the car yours or is it just temporarily visiting?

How is the power compared to jackass?

fleet 05-08-2013 12:54 AM

Since this appears to be one of them collector cars, I hope you were able to get the famous former owner to sign the dashboard for you. :unibrow:

Congratulations Charlie.

If you have a web image hosting site such as PhotoBucket or SmugMug (my fav)
Upload your images to the host site, pick the image size you want and right click and copy the image URL then click on the picture icon and paste it into the field. Or in your post past the URL and bracket the URL with [IMG][/IMG].

Great collection of silver bullets there. Cool shot of all 3 together. I need to create a photo like that. I have a blue 69 Camaro, a blue mountain bike, and a blue skateboard. Sitting in the short driveway of my townhouse, it would be an epic photo, but I don't want to show anybody up so maybe I'd better not post anything like that.

No, I'm not jealous.

That some funny $h1t! right there:cheers:

Flash68 05-08-2013 02:02 PM

So Charley, how does the 67 "feel" (other than the power difference) compared to the 69?

Awesome addition to the stable. When are you getting your stacker trailer??

Vegas69 05-08-2013 10:19 PM

I'd still take the Mule for looks but I'd want to drive this one. :)

GregWeld 05-09-2013 06:18 AM

Hey Charley....

Next track day -- register the pile of nuts and bolts and I'll stop by and haul it to the track for you.... or I'll take the '66 and you drive/haul the pile... It would be fun to watch you mow down all those high zoot Mustangs with that old Camaro....
