We had to move the sway bar and radiator up a little to make room for the blower elbow but it all fits snug as a bug in a rug! :D

Gauge pod looks awsome!!!!!:wow:
|
Very nice! This is an amazing build! You could go through the whole thread about 4 times and still not see everything! Great job!
|
Well it will be in Pleasanton this weekend in the CHASSISWORKS booth if you would like to inspect further. Then it will be in Del Mar the following weekend as we are having our own booth down there.
Look forward to meeting more lat-g folks, Did you sell you C10 project? that truck was cool. Rodger |
Looks sweet.

If I can get last minute insurance on my car, Ill be there, and I will check that out. Looks killer.

I would love to come to pleasanton but a stupid lady ran a red light the other night and whiped out the front end of my car so now I have to fix that this weekend. I'll have a friend take pictures of it! Great build, I love it! My first car was a '67 Chevy II that I still have. |
Pictures don't do John's car justice - you really do need to see them in person to appreciate the work that went into it. I was fortunate to have been able to see the gauge pod come together while I was down there. Excellent work - Rodger has a great crew working in the shop and their craftsmanship shows.
|
The car is amazing. It was great to see it in person at the Goodguys show.
|
Can never get enough of looking at this build..Awesome work guys:hail:
|
Here is a quick walk around of John's car at the Del mar GG show
|
It looks great ....So close to being done...but so far .
Looks like another 1000 hrs to finish...LOL LOVE the car BUD!!!!! |
Thanks Guys, the video is pretty cool, for even a guy like me that sees this beast everyday. The 66 is coming along nicely, There is still a long way to go, but a project of this magnitude can seem like a never ending deal if you keep up the level that has been maintained so far..... SOMEDAY...
Rodger |
what are the boxes bolted to each side of the rear tubs in the trunk?

It is for the ISIS power system. It is pretty high tech stuff. It is basically the controller for the main body harness for the car.
Just search for ISIS power system. It does some really cool things. |
WOW!!!:wow:
The filler neck that AirRide sent me that they're making worked out PERFECT!!! It feels so nice when it's in your hands and is really a quality piece!!! The neck extension is perfect for whatever you want to do and worked out great for us!!! http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...1--2009041.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...1--2009038.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...22-2009015.jpg John |

Actually we're going to wrap the gas tank with a cooling blanket for a colder charge into the engine..... We figured while it was cold back there we could fit some Coors beers with the "blue mountain" indicators in the holes and keep them cool at the same time when we're on the power tour.... Not really.... John |

It's great to have people like you for customers I have few my self. It enables people like Roger and I to release are artistic abilities and bang out some metal and alittle tube bendding. Mark |
John,
Looking great. It's come a long way. I think Rodger paid for the dimpling dies on your car alone. See you in Columbus. Later, |
It was pretty easy, We waterjet the panel, or I would have used up like 10 hole saws. Then Brycen and I dimple died the whole panel in like 45 minutes on an air over hydraulic press. Nothing too difficult.
|
This has got to be one of my favorite projects on here, looks sick man!

That's coming from the guy with a Pickup, a few steps down from even a Nova. Let alone a "CAMARO".

Christmas came early this year!!!
I want to thank Tyler Beauregard and Anvilauto for setting up the project with this and the hood piece that's coming! I can't WAIT to see that! In fact, I can't wait to see them both on the car!!
