It was nice to meet you at the lat-g party. Didn't realize you were in washington state. Hope to see the car in person one day.

Jay, a few things I'd do alittle differently on the interior if I were to do it again but for my first attempt at it, I'm happy. Aprreciate the compliment coming from a guy that builds extraordinary cars!

Very inspiring work. I am glad to see that it's almost done. You better order another set of tires for it this summer I have a feeling the first set won't last!

Lenie, you really aren't helping my pocket by posting pics of this car. You have me seriously considering a full-blown custom interior now:G-Dub:

How does the imaging sound? Hertz makes some damn fine audio. Those subs enough to keep up with the rest of the system?

Thanks, so far so good. They're new but have been sitting in my closet for a while and am going to give them a chance, if not I'll replace them. I'm not really into the vibrating loud boom of subs, I rather like the short clean sound. Thanks again.

Lenie 11-21-2013 08:24 AM

Did a lot of aluminum polishing of the plates I fabricated and final assembly of interior last night, really like the way it's coming together, almost done.

It isn't snowing up there yet is it?

Are you throwing that red shift boot on or did you already and go back to black?

Hey Rob not snowing yet but the roads have been sanded a few times due to freezing weather. I was going to do a red boot, had both colors stitched and ended up liking the black better...but ya never know down the road...just ask Ron, there's always room for change!:stirthepot:

Thanks, I really like the gauges also but still can't get the oil pressure to work, good thing is Digital is a great comepany and guarantees it for life..I think it's just the sending unit. I do like the red lit up at night.

I kept all my original side glass so I had it all tinted yesterday. All I have left to finish is the trunk and final cut/buff. Pulled it out last night and got a couple of quick pics w/my 99 cent camera to show tint.
