Looking great, I’m gonna have to get some of those mag daddy holders. I can use those in a lot of areas on my car.

I’ve seen those Velcro zipTies before, Yet I’ve never thought about where they could prove useful. Thanks for showing me lol. Great idea

They are not cheap but man do they work great. You can play with the harness till you get it exactly where you want it and then your done. I have considered a small dab of panel bound once I am happy with the final location of each of the mounts.

You're welcome and always glad to share the knowledge that I have been exposed to along the way.

Trying to find the easy way out (( 06-05-22 ))

So I am running the DSE wiper harness under the steering column so it looks somewhat factory. However I am trying to come up with a solution to retain the line clamp. Since the hardware isn't a machine thread there really isn't a nut available. In the end I should have just drilled out the holes and tapped them for an actual bolt and then I could just use a nut & washer in the engine bay.

Attempt #1 License plate nut. -- Fail

Attempt # 2 I forgot what these are called. -- Fail

They kinda work but not really

In the end I am just going to drill & tap the holes and do it the right way.

Drivers Side Fender Paint ((06-09-22))

I decided to paint the back side of the fenders.

Fender is finally home and will soon be on the car.

Prepping the car so I can install the fender.

It's nice finally removing some of the blue tape.

I am happy that I had Larry paint the firewall satin black as it is a nice contrast with the body color.

Hopefully, I can get Mike or Scott to come over and give me a hand to install the fender soon.

These were once much more expensive and harder to find. This is one that found and use for a number of projects with a great size selection. You can also get all of the sizes of rivet nuts in stainless. https://www.amazon.com/Giantisan-Pro...NsaWNrPXRydWU=

That’s a really fair price. IMO
