Since the start of this build during the past seven years I have had twins, built a new garage, remolded the house and even brushed with death recently. I have met hundreds of new friends and have acquired some of the best possible help from the professionals in the business. I been welcomed into their houses and invited them to mine. Not only have I gotten pretty much 100% of my parts from Lateral G and Pro-Touring Members but I have had some very late night conversations 7 days a week on Building techniques, best parts to fit my build and where to get the best steak when I’m traveling around the country. I built this car with no sponsors but I still wanted to show off all the help that was given to me. Ben and I came up with a way to show off the car and thank most of the people that helped me out. None of these sponsors were charged a dime to be on this shirt. It’s my gift to them, you may also notice there are some sponsors that I did not use their parts, but their friendship has become greater than the build.
We are approaching the end of the build and it will soon hit the public completed. Please enjoy the shirts and show off are fellow Friends and Sponsors. It can only help them as they have helped all of us. I’ll be the first to admit, I’d be lost without them.
Thanks

Mark the way you just put all that said really sums up what I see this sport/hobby is all about. I am drawn to these sites for the same reasons you talk about and I am really happy you are able to have this car going so far to the top of the chain to have it in SEMA. Can't wait to see the car and meet you first hand:cheers: Well said!!

Oh and congrats on the twins:thumbsup:

Thanks Nick, unfortunately SEMA looks like a no go this year. I'm out of money and sponsors are tight on money this year. I will get some good picks up soon were trying to work out all the details.

I know this is a big bucket list item for you. I know you kinda had your heart set on it. But you ain't missin nothing. To be honest I found my first SEMA experience quite disappointing. I had no aspirations or fantasys of any big awards or anything, I was not disappointed that way. But had a true "that was it" feeling about the middle of the second day. Now the fact that I am in the business there were some benefits that came with 5 years in a row of sometimes 3 cars there. But I tell people all the time, if you ARE NOT in the business, it is about the worst show you could take your car to.

It is all about ego if your not directly in the business and there is plenty of other opportunities to show it to the world (like pictures here would be a good start, LOL).

I am not taking anything this year and I could not be more excited. Larry got a call from someone wanting MotiV8tr (would be 3 years in a row) and I talked him out of it. I am just thrilled to have no responsibilities this year. Those that have shown there will understand.

Fly out and have a good time, and bring pictures.

Mark,

I have been meaning to post how awesome the car has turned out. Being a PA guy as well, I have to get out to see this thing. Very Very nice. Oh, a question. How are you handling shifting the car? I see the paddles, but I mean how are you doing the park, reverse, drive thing? Did I miss a shifter in the console pics? Again, very nice!
