Thanks brother - The guys that worked on this truck are all awesome.

I need to call you and tell you about the new build plan on the camaro project. It has a bunch of Kenny influence.

Simple and clean - meant to be driven

As an outsider living in Australia, lots of talk on here about good car, bad car, good show, bad show, who you know, what you know...

But seriously, I've had to replaced 3 keyboards from the drool just looking at pics.

We are lucky to see 5-10 top top top shelf cars in Oz, and rarely more than 3-4 new ones each year, and then there is really only 1 or 2 major shows you can see them at, and never ever as close up and driven as you guys get...

Keep the pics coming of these amazing machines and the amazing people who have built em, we'll sit back here over the pond and keep dreaming of that much sublime metal in one place at the one time....

okay guys it's time to be nice and only say good things about cars

As someone said earlier in a post, the best thing about these shows is hanging with your friends and making new friends.

My only complaint about the show was the rain and next year they need to have an accoustic set vs a full band. It's really hard to talk with your friends when your looking at the top 10.

but that is just my opinion and it has nothing to do with the cars. Odd huh

You know it's funny the guys that bag on some elses car never shows up with a real nice car himself. That's why I stay at the autocross all day. The looky lues dont ever come around there. There too busey judging all the real nice cars.Telling all their beer gusling buddies I would have built it differant than that.IMHO any car that was in SMOY area should have been there.I am glad I did not have to pick a winner. So if you had a car there CONGRAT's. If were there just looking dont bag.

I can't believe all this happened just from a few of us posting pictures of the show, for those who couldn't be there! Live and learn. I was naive enough to believe people would just enjoy the show, and we'd all sing our way off stage into hot rod bliss. I haven't been frequenting forums like I used to, and forgot...

I had a great time at the show. I wish they could have held off long enough for it to dry up and run the AutoX on Friday - Oh well. It was great to see everyone and catch up.

We normally have a big group of people with us, but this year it was just Dad and I.

There were some awesome cars there. I kept gravitating toward Poteet's '66 Chevelle. The styling of that car just tripped my trigger!!!! There were too many nice cars to mention them all....................

I think I said this last year too, but - - - - Columbus Goodguys is somewhat motivating for me, but at the same time frustrating that I'm still working on my project(s).

i think of the top 5 ,4 were perfect picks . i did think the 54 vette was a contender for it . BUT you have to know that there are 15 guys that pick the top 5 and 15 guys that have different taste of cars . 15 guys that may not be builders or pro touring car lovers , they are magazine editors, vendors, goodguys staff and others . i think goodguys needs all the credit in the world for having a event like this .

now i do think the best car did not win .
rings fairlane was the best car .
burmans camaro , lots of metal work .
mannings camaro nice ,nice car
roadster shop cuda killer car also
d@d mustang nice car also .

now streetrod of the year , hands down should have been the miller truck !

Ditto. Rats, I would have liked to have said hey to you too. Too many cars, too much sun, couldn't concentrate on anything else but hot rods... :)
