It's total banana's on E51. Base tune was 603hp and 658TQ at tire and that was limit found where PCM was closing the throttle! LOL v2 of tune now and . . . . Big Increase! Needs some wide open spaces now. |

Tuner wants WOT in 3rd from 2000-6000 problem is It still wants to spin in 7th Add some fuel in rear tank, let out some air from tires then see which gear I can do a 2000-6000 rpm pull in. Will have to have the dragy in too. See if it will run 100 mph in 1/8 th With a 3.50 gear in diff and a low 27" tall tire add in the 4.69 1st gear and even with power in 1 & 2nd dialed back it's still a handful. |

Built by Louisville KY truck plant june 1966 for the Northern Pacific Railway for use as a high rail truck. Dump bed too. I found it hiding behind this chicken shed where it sat at least 31 yrs. Bringing it back to life. Although a bunch more costly decided to go original vs taking cab and dropping on something else ruining the Railroad history at same time. For well over 30 yrs the decal on door was covered in white paint protecting it from the elements. I was able to figure out how to remove white paint revealing the mint decal underneath. Long history this truck has. |
