It was a very poorly attended event… so it doesn't surprise me a bit that it's not running again. You can only imagine the cost of the transportation - the crews - the air fares etc to ship this stuff all around -- so they have to sell some tickets -- or get some major air time. I don't thing they did either. |

I have been working on the dash pad, what a piece of $hitt. If there is one part I hate in a 69 Camaro it's the dash pad.
I have had all sorts of problems with the fit up to the DSE dash, I am not sure if the pad is the problem or the dash. So I have made it fit, it will be covered in leather so it should come out fine. First I cut it up, then I filled it and shaped it with Sika Flex. I had the boys at Rowe & Sons make me up a leading edge from metal, to hold it nice and straight. Attachment 42746 Attachment 42747 |

Now working on building out the area's around the A pillars, another terrible fit. Attachment 42749 Attachment 42750 |
Greg a lot of this aftermarket stuff is just garbage. That's a lot of work to make something fit but the end result will be perfect!

Sika Flex is bad ass stuff… always used the various "adhesions" on the boat. The strongest will rip fiberglass in two before it lets go.
Nice job mate! |
Its looking good Greg.
