I think someone post this on every one of my builds.... My life coach told me a 2nd gen is a bad idea. I did a 78 Blazer. That was a bit out of my Comfort zone. I had a blast building it but did not get too crazy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Life coach.... LOL. Is that Charlie?

I would really love to see what cool things the father of pro-touring would do to 2nd gen. Yeah, I have a 70, so it would hit closer to home. I love the blazer build. I didn't even know about it til the mag. article.

Malitude was even further out of your comfort zone I'd say and that was a grand slam of a car in my opinion.
As much as I'd love to see your idea of a 2nd gen, I'm still amazed and appreciative of how open you are with all of your builds. Thank you, Mark. |
Ok, another question for you Mark!
With the DSE subframe, what transmission cross member are you using? I know the DSE engine mounts move the engine back 1.5 inches, and they say to use a stock style cross member. What are you using in this build, and what have you used in past builds? The closest pic I could see was on post #61, but it's far in the background and I can't really make it out. Thanks again for your time and expertise! |

The nipple off of the bottom of the air oil separator is mounted higher than the oil level and the line off of it returns low in the tank below oil level and does have a check valve coming right off of the separator |
