It took me min to figure it out to. I was able to fix two of them for you. You can use the last of the four codes listed and just cut and paste as one option. The other is when you are typing out your post there is a tool bar at the top. Select the icon I boxed in this example.

https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-...-rFNL6JP-L.png

There will be a pop up that looks like this:

https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-...-CLNP38W-L.png

Paste the link into that box and you're good to go. Make sure you delete the text highlighted in blue though. It's easy once you find the right button to push.

Thanks for the help!

Cleaned up the underside then realized most of this sheet metal will be replaced due to rust.

Detroit speed mini tub and new complete trunk floor

Trunk floor was supposed to be Pre-notched.... turns out not so much..

Need about another 3/4" to an inch on each side

JDODDS187 01-13-2016 08:21 AM

In hindsight I would not have done the entire trunk floor... such a pain

Our Torchmate plasma seems to do a good job with these parts, nice and square and consistent. test pcs out of crappy HR plate,Just bought a sheet of 3/16" P&O for the actual parts.

Awesome work ! Kick-Ass ! Glad people are still posting on this old thread !! Don't get on here much anymore , went from hot rods to RZR XP 1000 , still a rush and a whole lots cheaper !! Easier to keep clean with a pressure washer and no worry about scratching paint trail riding ! Still love the cars ,where my heart is but after retirement and Obama care, stock market , y'all know the rest, $$$$$ ,, keep um coming don't let it die ,

glitchz24 01-06-2017 02:51 PM

Long time reader. First time poster here. The pictures aren't of a pro-touring/corner carver. But I thought I'd throw them up here as I work on finishing up this car and getting started on the one which I'll be more actively participating on this forum with.
Here's the one I'm finishing up, I've done everything myself except for the powdercoat that A local friend did an excellent job on!:

My plan is to get paint and a few other things finished up on the 47 Twin Turbo Chevy Sedan Delivery and then start on my new build:
http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s...E1A9676E5A.jpg
That pile happens to be 'some' of a 1973 Dodge Challenger. (Beside it is a 1967 Lincoln Continental, fun car, not worthy of a build thread)

NOT A TA 01-07-2017 08:43 PM

Welcome! Nice sedan delivery!

WSSix 01-08-2017 07:08 AM

Welcome to the site. I really like the delivery. Pretty wicked engine lurking under there.

glitchz24 01-09-2017 09:23 AM

Thanks! It's been a blast to build. 5.3 with cam and springs handle 10 psi really well and I'm thinking about turning it up a bit more. I went to a dyno day last year and got beat (by 10hp) by an LSA swapped fairlane, so I'm tuning for a boost solenoid I installed. It has a Tremec T56 backed up with a Ford 8.8.

Nice work! Welcome to the site. Be sure to start a build thread too if you haven't already.

StarlinerJack 05-31-2017 12:34 PM

I think I posted somewhere in this thread already - here is the almost finished, all built in my garage except for the alignment and the tailpipes. I'm not 100% on the paint, so I'll continue working on finishing up everything else and then revisit. I may end up repainting some or all of it down the road.

Spiffav8 08-15-2017 09:24 AM

That looks really sharp!

Thanks - I actually based my tire sizes off of the Camaro you used to own. I think I can actually go a little wider in the rear since I rolled in the edges - 295/35/18?

Possibly. Might run a little. The Bucket had Nittos on it. They have a fairly straight sidewall. Can't tell what you have on the car.

Very proud to say this is almost 100% garage built. It would be easier to list what I have not done, than what I have.

Farmed out the transmission rebuild, the upholstery and the exhaust. The rest has all been me in my garage with my two hands. Well, the paint was done in a borrowed booth, but still by me.

Almost done, just waiting for the upholstery shop next month.

They are Sumitomo HTRZ II - 285/35/18. I narrowed the rear end and tried to get the wheels as centered as possible in the wheel wells.

Here is mine

Andrew_at_Painless 10-10-2017 08:24 AM

My '71 was done entirely in the garage. I'll share some pics of the complete mess from the Power Tour thrash later.
