Where is the obligatory camera shift to the dyno screen at the end of each run? Hmmmm.... hiding something eh? Gamesmanship..... Ok I like it.

Looks good (your hair) and sounds mean (the motor).

i know we're getting way off topic here but that last pic reminds me of one of my wifes grandparents best friends we use'd to go water skiing with , he did the "combover" and when it got wet it was just one lump of hair coming off his right scalp. Sorry, i laughed out loud when remembering it so i just had to go there....

In an effort to help me obtain my lap time goals I created a spreadsheet to record the cars set up and conditions for each session. I could probably add tires and spring rate details but I dont intend on changing any of that this season. If you guys see something I missed let me know. I can also forward this to anyone who may want to try it out.

Planning your work and working your plan.

So uh..... when are you gonna start the 2013 Buttonwillow thread so no one can show up and it be a total failure?

I just signed up to run Sonoma --- August "Summer Surprise" --- with NorCal Shelby club. Open to all.... you don't even have to be a club member.

No worries, those marks just give your car more character. And at the least you've truly made it your car now. :unibrow:

Well I kind of feel bad posting this only because I know there are a few people around here waiting for a truck load of big ticket items to be delivered and this is the last piece of the puzzle for me for now but here it is. Hood to air box seal showed up today from McMaster-Carr. I now have a positive seal around the air cleaner. Grand total for a minimum of 10' buy in..........35 bucks. :hapdance:

Track Junky 06-21-2013 10:52 PM

No worries, nylocks are in place along with nylon washers.

Me? pretty good.

Car? Not so much.

Bring a brain bucket. We'll give Weld a handicap and throw some weight in my car.

Big ticket items?? I've got to live vicariously through everybody else right now. Gaetano, you just got a new engine man, I'd say that's up there with big ticket items in my book. Air box seal looks good, to me the little details are just as cool as the big stuff.
