Then you were'nt going fast enough. My car loved those cattle grates on that "highway" somewhere outside of Logan UT. Doug (the Lucky7Speedshop giveaway truck) saw my car "light up" lol. We were, how u say, driving spiritually.

Glad your car was "unscathed" underneath, mine was unscathed on top....

This build is awesome. Great to see something a little different being done!

Vegas69 10-24-2018 08:45 PM

I agree, it's one of my favorites as it's unique and actually being used!

aidanfancystang 11-06-2018 03:10 PM

I saw this car in person at SEMA , very nice car, very well done

WILWAXU 11-07-2018 06:35 AM

Agree with the others, the car looked great at SEMA.

The execution is spot on. Looks nearly stock on the outside, to include the interior. Everything underneath is all business.

dcracing 11-08-2018 04:58 AM

Met the owner at the SEMA show. Car looked great. The owner was nice enough to talk to us about his car for about 30 mins. Nice guy.

clill 11-08-2018 07:31 AM

See that ? Somebody said I was a nice guy. Take that Greg Weld.:bigun2:

Well, I noticed what you did... you saved your bud Greg from builder purgatory and suggested a vendor to “get ‘r done”... yeah, major kudos for that. REALLY!

That is a fact — and I suppose I owe him a hearty “you’re swell” and a pat on the arse for it. I might even hold back on the tee so I don’t embarrass him.

Oh yeah, behind the flipping of birds and banter, there’s a bro hug 🤗

clill 11-11-2018 07:07 PM

I don’t even like him.

^^^^^^^^ Well, I didn't realize you were that tall. Is the car in the middle a project car :peepwall:

65 347 11-18-2018 08:02 PM

Meet up with Charlie today at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals and got a chance again to look over the Riv. It is perfect car idea. Very detailed with some top quality equipment with a body that is already broken in, so you can drive the hell out of it and not worry that it's going to get scratched.

Matt has been stalling so he can keep my car for the Detroit Autorama. Modifying the BMW seats I bought so they sit lower.

CTX-SLPR 01-24-2019 08:08 PM

How much weight did ditching that monster motor cross member save you?

clill 01-25-2019 06:26 AM

Base weight on a Riv is 4,036
This pile is...................4,197

Penny 01-25-2019 07:11 AM

Is Matt going to have a spot at Autorama? Any other cars? Gordon's maybe?

clill 01-26-2019 03:16 PM

The update I got from Stielow is the Riv will be headed my way before Autotorama. I think Matt will be there with the other car he had at SEMA.

214Chevy 01-26-2019 03:21 PM

Don't know if anyone has asked and it might be a stupid question, but will the seat have all the power options Charlie? Like, up and down, as well as, forward and rear adjust or will they just be installed to your liking and fit you.

clill 01-31-2019 05:55 AM

Yes Matt sorted out making that stuff still work.

waynieZ 02-02-2019 12:35 PM

The seats look great I like that they are cut down it blends better.

GregWeld 02-02-2019 12:57 PM

I like the fact the car doesn’t fit me.....
