Been pushing the last couple of weeks in my garage doing the trunk, stereo and electrical to make it presentable/safe for a little road trip in the next couple of weeks. Needed to get my end of the work done by Tuesday so I could get it to the painters for some touch up paint work and cut/buff although a few paint items to redo down the road, now just trying to get presentable. Was out working this morning when first time in my life while getting out of the trunk pains shot thru my lower back and it locked up. Found myself in the fetal position on the garage floor w/nobody home for awhile before I was able to get back in the house and now pretty much can't move around. What the hel-? Couldn't have happened at a worse time....pissed!:mad: Common' man, could of waited 1 more day. Venting...

Sorry to hear that Lenie!!! Getting old is for other people -- it should never happen to us!

If you can work through the pain, stretch your hamstrings. I've had the same thing happen to me before. If you have to, lay on your back and have someone lift each leg with your knee locked. God luck.

Lenie Sorry to hear this. Did you try something that's got anti inflammatory like Advil. My doctor has me take 800 mg and it sometimes helps. Check with your doctor fist. I hope the pain eases up soon. I know not working on the car is going to drive you nuts but that stress will keep you back in knots even longer.

:lol: You are all right, growing old isn't for the weak. Not really in medication but broke down last night and took a couple of Aleve/did ice and heat, still wanted to go out and work on the car carefully but the wife put her foot down and had her way. Today still hurting but the wife's at work so I'm out crawling around very gingerly...got till about 5:00 tonight to get things done before the wife get's home....

LOL... This happened to me Yesterday.. Im Dying as well :) Im taking some muscle relaxers and heading to the Garage :) I might not do anything but stare at the car, but at least I wont be on the couch..

Battle! Ya it sucked but ended up working thru it, cost me about a day of immobility. Hope you get to moving around pain free soon.

At the GNRS, car will be outside Sat. and Sun.

I gotta stay off Lat-g for a while. Seems there a case of backitis going around and I don't wanna catch it:)

Thanks Greg, yes I drove to classic industries monday morning and grabbed two just in case. The shoot lasted from 10 am until 8 pm, was pretty cool and met some great car people including the producer of Overhaulin'. Greg, thanks for everything Saturday night, I really enjoyed myself and thanks for tracking down a new spoiler.
