You could have been kinder to him and said his was the best quote ever and mine was second best... He's already lost his patience with his patients!

You can blame bad texting on auto correct, or driving, etc. etc. Terrible spelling while sitting in front of a computer with spell check, is just stupidity.

Rob updates look great, nice lock wiring job. Have you seen the movie Need for speed, came out a couple of weeks ago....Thought you'd enjoy the first 20 minutes or so of it.

He'll get over it. BTW, wouldn't that statement make you one of his patients :snapout:

J/K Rob.....glad to see some progress

Gae, I've have thought that way more than I ever should admit. It could still happen. Weld told me I need a backup car.

I run Detroits front and rear in my Bronco and there is nothing like......

Is that pump in the 9" just for the cooler?
On some of the race cars I used to work on we used an external pump and dry sumped the diff and trans similar to an engine setup.

I'm going to do a little research on the best way to capitalize on the pump. Initially I'm just going to let it pump the oil out and then back into the housing. Eventually I will either run it through a small reservoir or a cooler or a combo of the two.

I've always had a locker in this car. I still have the 3.70 detroit third member I used to run in it as a spare. Everything I know about the car is out the window since now I have way more tire, way more HP, lower CG, wider track width, less weight on the nose, ect, ect The emblems on the car are the same but that's about it. :lmao:

Lennie. My wife has a double fusion in her back so I haven't been to a movie theater in a few years and spend all my $$ on beer, surfboards and car parts so I will have to wait for it to be on one of my existing tv channels.:popcorn2:

I did the safety wiring on my rotors but can't take credit for the one's on the third member.:D

.

I've never driven a car on a track that didn't have a locker. That doesn't mean I'll be any good at driving this one with a Locker but it's all I know. I've had exponentially more time in Karts than cars and in a shifter there is no diff just a solid axle and lots of power to weight. So roll through and then power on is what I'm used to.

I agree it's hard to sift through all the crap posted on the web about stuff. When it came down to it I asked Sutton what diff he preferred and for a track car he said Locker hands down. I let Brett run my chunk in his car and he preferred the locker over his tru track. So based on feedback from those two and my own solid axle experience I feel pretty good about the Locker. Time will tell :popcorn2:

Charley is thinking about selling his Dale Earnhardt and or his Tony Stewart cars... all fresh and set up to turn left and right...

If anyone has ever driven or ridden in one of those type cars on the track... they wouldn't even think of building all this sissy ProTouring stuff. They go into a corner and then it's just OMG what G's they can pull...

Then you'd still have time to run it in May at Thunderhill with us --- instead of going thru life as a wannabe. Oops -- did I really just say that... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Love ya buddy!

Life would be so dull without your best friends wouldn't it! LOL

Rob, glad to see your chipping away at the list and getting it closer to done.
It was great meeting you (and Ron) at Del Mar this past weekend, I felt like I was in a whirl wind. So many things going on, people, and just plain worn from driving.

Rob, thought you might want to pick this up so you have something to cruise until yours is finished-
