what is the point of ditching the GM LS-7 titanium rods in favour of a set of callies???

Their was rods and pistons failed in the wrist pin area. from what I was told.when you start pushing it over 625 hp.Mahle pistons guys also said their was problems. As for going to a Callies crank or stock crank . On a stock crank you would have to drill out the crank so much to add weights it would make it weaker for the heaver rods.

Ran it today it was Hot and Muggy
It pulled 711.7hp at 7100 rpm Max torq 610@5521rpm on pump gas 93 oct At 6628 rpm at was at 700hp 1 7/8 headers tri y with 3in exhaust with h balance pipe no open headers sounds realy nice will have more pictures later We hit the 100 + hp per liter on pump gas http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z...d/DSC01295.jpg |
