Those cars are really growing on me. Great colors and I like the vinyl top too.

NICE Bill !
NICE ! |
Thanks guys,
I really had a hard time trying to decide whether or not to put a vinyl top back on the car, but in the end, I just had to do it. If for no other reason, to be different. This car will not be as flashy as the goat, but should hold its own, plus it will see track time. I am looking forward to wearing it out once it is finished. If I keep on though, I will lose my Poser status....hehe |
cool
bill

HEY BILL!!!

LOL Tom, you know how me, cars and budgets go. Compared to the goat, it is still a budget build though.
Hey Blake, yeah, been busy and now we are working hard to get this puppy ready for the XV track day at Pocono. You know I will beat the heck out of it. I am assuming you will be at SEMA again this year right? We need to get that adult beverage this time, my treat. |
Keep the top,it will make it stand out even more, always liked chargers.Looks to be a good project.(make sure top is glued real good)Keep up the post.

This is all unsolicited advice, but I would find some onboard videos of some drivers at that particular track and take some observations on what lines they are taking, when they brake, and just get an all around feel for what turns come up next on the track. Learn all the different flags and all the safety procedures for getting on and off the track. If you can get a feel for the flow of the track and what turns are what, you will be light years ahead of the other guys, who just showed up with their high end car expecting great results because they built their car so killer. Just learning on-track rules, procedures, and rules can be overwhelming. Prepare yourself as much as you are your car and I guarantee you will have a much more productive, fun, and safe time. |

Stuart, it was just terrific. The local guys (Coghlan Motorsports) did very good for a non sponsored team and with a good sponsor deal shaping up next year, they will be a great team and a force to be dealt with. Ron took several good/funny pictures he said he would bring by...lol It is amazing that just about every event I go to now, someone I meet will know someone on the boards, so when he mentioned Lake Havasu, I knew he would know you......small world indeed now with internet. |
