Did you re-inforce inside the frame where you cut the chunk out? I assume from the pictures that you welded in a ~1/8" plate to fill the part you cut out? I'm right at the point of notching my subframe and was thinking of seriously re-inforcing the area with internal ribs to carry the load around the notch? Seemed like this would elimate any stresses in the area of the notch?
