Let me add 1 more penny to my 2 cents. I bought a '68 Cutlass last year that was pretty close to this one for about $50. I wound up letting it go because of the whole time and space thing. Good deals will come and go. This is definately not one of them.

Steer Clear

I've worked on 6 Chevelle restorations to varying degrees. Crappy cars seem to look better in pictures - it looks like its had a tough life (really tough and I think you'd be shocked at how bad it is once you got close). Certainly there are signs of a prior wreck and body work. It looks well stripped of value. Cars like this are good local sells because you can verify any remaing value ... perhaps it is solid but unless this is your dream and your on a week by week budget - save .. look a little longer. I'm out in NC and have sceen a lot better deals. What are you really looking for .. is a 68 where your hearts at?

We purchased our 69 for $700 and it was probably worse off than that one is when we got it :(

I was actually looking for a friend. I own a 68 Camaro and I won't purchase anything else until i finish building it. I already sold my 81 el camino, my 88 ss monte carlo, my 67 bug, and my 56 bmw isetta project cars to focus on the camaro.... I dont think his heart is set on any car he is just looking for a project muscle car.....1st gen camaro, 64-69 chevelle, fastback mustang, etc.....
