WOW :willy:

Mike- Michelin doesn't make a tire with any sizing like the M/T. The rears are 29 inches tall by about 15 wide for a 20 inch rim. They ride really nice and have pretty good grip. I know a couple guys running them and they all seem to really like them.

Rybar- I will get you a pic up tonight from the rear!!:)

Really love the total package deal on this car - low, mean - with the power to back it all up. Excellent vision !

PS, REALLY wish they would have covered the buildup more in depth so that we could truly enjoy the amount of work it takes to do something like this - instead of all the shop drama....

damn it's nice...that's the right year too! Now I just need to find one!

TwinSting 09-04-2007 10:29 AM

Garage Dog- Thanks. I too wish they would have shown more of the thousands of hours of fabrication and building of the car rather then the made up drama and bs. The work, fabrication and design that was done was done incredible though. You can see some other pictures that Steve1968LS2 took at http://www.popularhotrodding.com/fea...tte/index.html and the article from Popular Hot Rodding. These pics are with the old wheels and tires though!

Car looks alot better Shaun!! Not that it looked bad before, though! Question - what is the overall width on these? Are they a true 15"? We talked awhile back Shaun and I was looking for something around a 12-13" wide tire. I'm currently running a 305/45 but would like something a little wider.

Thanks-
Brent

TwinSting 09-04-2007 04:45 PM

Brent- They are 14.7 sidewall to sidewall with an overall diameter of 29".
