Steve:

That is one of the best gifts someone can give someone else.

Something that took thoughtfulness.
Something that took a a lot of effort.
and Something special just for you.

I have ordered several things from GNP Diecast, but I haven't had the opportunity to meet these people yet, but

My hats off to Dirk Van Zuuk, and John McBride at GMP Diecast.

That is a very nice thing to do for someone's Birthday.

Well done. (I could take a lesson from this)

Thanks,

Ty O'Neal

You lucky dog! That would be a great b-day present. Your car immortalized in miniature. I keep looking at those first couple pics thinking it's amazing how close it is to the 1:1. Classic look in that last pic, hahaha. Enjoy.

You make those lists too Sonoma?! I can think of close to a dozen here that I want.

That is possibly the coolest gift ever. And I thought my billet shift ball was cool.

How Cool!

That is pretty neat, I love the paint detail and he even got the Kinesis wheels correct!

Now if I could just figure out a way to change my dream car from a die cast model to the real thing ;-) Have fun enjoying both of your Toys!

All my "old" friends read small print with their arms outstretched. Rather than get bifocals, I will have my arms lengthened.

I might not be able to wait though, I was just making a list two days ago of cars from here that I want to make out of GMP cars to go with the rest of my collection.

Will do. I'm happy just to have my name on all the Streetfighter boxes. But a production version would be a great honor. Lemme know if you need some paint for your build.

Oh man! you need to take a trip to Winder, GA and tour the GMP facility. There are literally hundreds of cool prototypes on display and the people are awesome. You'll see some pre-production samples with variations that will give you tremendous insight into the design process. It is an ultimate "kid in a candy store" experience.

Thanks everyone. They snuck it out while I was opening presents. Just picture yourself opening a bunch of gifts and then seeing this out of the corner of your eye. I about fell over.

THAT is freakin' awesome....what a cool gift. Right On!

Oh, and Happy Birthday Steevo! :captain:

Glad you liked it Steve! Dirk got the bumpers and other various parts. So I'm sure he's hard at work finishing the last couple details.
The model looks great, all I did was send a model and a few parts, Dirk did the hard part. My hat's off to Dirk for doing a phenominal job!

John
