Looks like a great car. lots of things can cause the car to feel sluggish. Do the comp. test for sure and look for vacume leaks check the plugs wires ect..
timing can be a pain. I would take it to a factory base line and go from there. Maybe throw a few gal of racing gas in it if you can get any and see how it runs. Do one thing at a time and write down what you did. Drive it and see what happens. Don't change a bunch of things at once. You may want to go to a Pontac board and see what others have done to there cars. Good luck. Steve |
Yeah, sounds good Steve. That's what I'll be doing this 3-day weekend. Speedster gave me similar tips a week or so ago which really helped. Timing was main culprit. The car just needs love, and some tweaking. it's been neglected ... Thanx. Believe me, will try all the stuff you mentioned.

I am still working on the last few things. I have suspention parts to install over the next 2 weeeks to lower it and some wiring to finish up. Then install the interior and give it a good cleaning. I just need some extra time.
