Ordered the brakes last on Friday....

Baer 6S MonoBlock Caliper with 15" 2-piece Rotor.

http://www.baer.com/gallery/main.php...serialNumber=2

Now that these are on order, custom 3-piece forged wheels can be ordered based off of the rotor dimensions.

The hold up now are the wheels. Too many decisions and a lot of $$$ to spend based off of pictures on the internet...

Apparently, a lot of 3-piece wheel manufacturers use the same rim manufacturer and the widest width available is only 11"

1. Awesome Car  :hail:

2. Can't wait to watch this build

3. Is this being built in a Home Shop ??

4. Another wheel manufacture that you may want to look at is DPE Engineering (( www.dpengineering.cc )) They shouldn't have a problem going up to 14" wide

5. If you guy's need to borrow a wheel backspacing tool just shoot me an e-mail and i'll send it to you. ( this one actually mounts a real tire )

6. Did i mention that this is a really cool project

ps - i think i just started smoking

aftering looking at that website, they look familiar to me. I'm pretty sure my dad looked in to the DPE wheels. He bought the tires from America's tire in Portland and the sales guy is trying to get the wheel sale as well. He told my dad that DPE has bad customer service or something along those lines IIRC...

He will order direct or through a distributor depending on price etc.. He is also able to get a break on some things (like the brakes) through the street rod shop he works at. I'll have to ask him again about DPE's....
