I think this second from the bottom on this pic is badass;

of the new set i really like the top two ... the new stripe is cool and i probably like the gray and gray version best but i think the red would appeal to me more with a darker upper gray.

I am really likin' the middle two, with the black on top being the favorite. I have to start playing with graphics on the computer.

haha, well I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wish I had more time to really organize my thoughts and properly edit them but there it is. The new installment will be coming out here by the end of the week. I drove a Stratus RT ... the last or next to last year they made them in the 2 door, so that's what it will cover mostly. And I have to chime in again on your drawings, of the newest newest group, I once again like the top 2. The top one is now my official fav and there is no way he can't use that stripe ... it's great on this car.

first off great looking work...after looking at your renderings it makes me wonder how more people havent gotten around to building them up!!!

my other question is how do you get that "look" on the cars...by look i mean that certain texture...I know this is confusing but i apologize, what I am trying to say is instead of making it look like a photograph how do you make it look like a very crisp and clean design...gahhh I am irritating myself...Im not making any sense!!!! hahah

ha, i get you. pen tool is the answer ... pen tool i say. in either Illustrator or Photoshop. In Photoshop there are other options like the lasso tool and its variations and you could probably use a hard brush if you were pretty cool but you'd get more precise lines with the previous 2 options.

Definetly agree with Colter the "Pen tool is you friend" with rendering or just chopping your selctions are alot sharper and you dont get those jagged edges.
The texture I use is just adding some noise filter on the body and fading that.
Learning to use feathering also helps when you create reflections etc...

here's a tut for you.

Btw DV the top 2 from the last batch are definetly the best color scheme it just flows nicely together IMO!

I agree with all of you. The Pen tool or Bezier tool is the first and foremost tool to learn and master for anyone starting out drawing digitally. Without it...well let's say there would not be many of us willing to do digital illustration. :hail:

ZVT, good tutorial. That is the first basic thing I learned back in '94.

It still takes a level of skill & talent to do the work...just another tool for the designer/artist, Just less mess to clean up afterwards!!:beavis:
