Rumor is that schwartz doesnt even build his own A-body Chassis.......I think they are built at some off site or seperate shop. I would take a roadster shop any day over the schwartz.

Im not tryng to downplay the roadster shop chassis at all. I like it alot , but I just seem some area's that need improvement. But .98 is a very respectable number to say the least. The schwartz chassis is where I see the improvements in weight though over the Roadster shop chassis. I dont want to have to throw around any extra weight then I have too.

Thats probable true. Roadster shop builds there frames out of 4 peices 3 of them welded inside and out. Very strong.....and very nice looking. We have two of the tri five chassis.

I just find the 3x3 box tube alittle over kill and that is what geomtry and angles are for. Its funny though my car is going to be mostly muscle car, street rod and protouring. So I should want the roadster shop chassis, you would think. Question I have for the guys at roadster shop is do they offer Top of the line Ohlins coil overs?

has schwartz or pathfinder chassis, who btw is believed to make his chassis's ever released geometry numbers? thats who i believe schwartz has build the chassis's, to me the schwartz just has a different look to it, and i can bet the rs shops front geometry is better then the circle track set up his has. and the rear susp look nearly the same, triangle 4 bar

Hey Zak.... I also spoke to Larry about what we talked about. Looks good.

BTW... I like them too but I guess I am also biased !

I do not know what frame is better, I could not say as i have no experiance with either, but I do know that the RS car with a REAL slushy mush box transmission was in the top 5 at Run Thru the Hills, getting in the top 5 when DSE's Test car with 2 drivers could not. I have to think if that car had the mushy 4L60E sorted out and if it is was running one of Steve O's converters and paddle shifter instead of the set up it was running, that car would have been hard to beat.

I hate the low crossmember to, but would have to give it a hard look for one of these projects.

Both the car and the wheels look mean  .
