GM are utilizing a system very similar to what's on the S281-E mustangs, where-in the supercharger is slung underneath your "intake" and the hot discharge air is blown up through the heat exchangers and then down into the cylinder heads on either side. |

The LS9 uses the largest blower ever built to date by Eaton. The supercharger is a 2300ci unit. The 1900ci unit that was tested on the LS2 put out over 700 hp with something like 8 psi of boost. The LS9 made in the neihborhood of 900hp on pump gas with a 50 state legal emissions tune. This thing should be a MONSTER if GM allows it to be. Only time will tell. And you can bet it won't be advertised with the figure listed above, but it is capable.
