Personally I'd like to see more wheel manufacturers offering wheels in 17". Some guys like a little more rubber. I realize that the trend is going towards bigger wheels (18+) but I'd like to see more offerings in 17's. Plus Forgelines look amazing and are definitely on the short list when I'm at that point.

OK, so I was correct in my first post, although seeing the center caps listed on the web site had me thinking I was in step child statues, LOL!

I just got off the phone with my guys at Forgeline about the center caps. The center caps for the racing series ARE NOT YET FINISHED and are still in development stages. The picture and center cap information was prematurely posted to the web site.

The center caps are coming. There are some attachement issues holding up the release right now. I will let everyone know soon as they are ready.

Can the racing series be used on the street for a daily driver?

Yes, not a problem using the racing series on the street. Just the center cap issue, which will be solved soon

Got a reply back from Forgeline today, and the lowest backspacing they can do on a 17" wheel, currently, is 6.9". This would leave me with a near stock width rear end which I really don't want. Decisions...decisions! Why can't this stuff be easy?

What sizes do you need? Stock tubs? I can do some cool tricks with 18s. We can do a 3.9 backspace with a 4.5" lip on a 9.5" in 18" sizes with some special inner rim shells they ordered for me. Makes for a badd ass look without excessive wheel bearing stress.

Mini tubbed. I was originally going to do 17x11's with 5.5" BS for the rear and 17x8 with 4.875" BS for the front. I don't really care for the fat lip design, but would like to see some pictures of what you're describing above. I prefer the old school look. What are most people doing for sizes on 18's with mini tubs?
