That is a nice setup, what size turbo is that. I've been to that forum before a few times they have some nice car's there. Id like to make around 1000-1200hp and still be able to drive cross country.

It was a Master Powers t70, if you are wanting to make that much power and drive cross country then you need to find the best ways to lower your underhood temps. Those turbos, headers, and exhaust will put off some heat. You will want some turbo blankets, header wrap, maybe some electrical heat shield and etc.

K i'm makeing a list of thing's i'll need and i will put those item's on it. I still need to get the car home and do a look over then start on the body. After that i'm going to do the suspension then the drive train will be next. The interior and paint will be last cuz i'm not sure which color i'm goin to paint it. I might keep it primed for awhile before i paint it.

what about a T3/T4 hybrid i keep hearing about those turbo's.is that a turbo i can use to make the power im looking for.

You would have to run two to make the kind of hp (1200 hp) your looking for and even running two you would be running them at the max. 1200rwhp is a reachable goal, but what is the highest hp car that you have owened/driven?

yea i would like it to be a twin turbo but if the t3/t4 would be pushing it then i wont worry about them. the most power ive own was a 500hp 350 in a 67 camaro when i was 19. so two t70 wuld be a better choice.....

I'm not trying to talk you out of your goal, but 1200rwhp is alot, and ALOT of money. I would look for a reasonable 750rwhp max with a single turbo. The stage 1 short block that you choose is good up to 800 hp (and that's probably fwhp), if you are really look to make 1200hp then you need to step up to the stage 3 shortblock, which is double in price and that not including upgrading your fuel system and everything else to support 1200 hp.

i see what you saying, and i am thankfull. you are right i might just settle for 800hp or the stage 2 engine 1000hp. My budget on the motor plus turbo setup is $10,000.00 would that make a reasonable power point.

15k at min. would probably be a better starting point and that is with you fab'ing the turbo stuff yourself. If you do fab your own setup just start pricing your mandrel bends and you would be suprised how fast that will add up, also ask around and see how much a set up turbo headers will run you. You could easily have 10k in your turn key engine after adding everything to your shortblock, not including your fuel setup. I'm not even sure if your going EFI or carb., and that will change your budget. I'm not trying to discourage you, but I just want you to know what you are getting into before you start buying parts and then can't afford to finish.

I agree, 10K for a turbo setup is probably low.
