Does the name Vertigo, come from the fact of taking some different aspects from the 68 and 69 Camaro's?

It had me confused a minute but the 69 tail lights look good on the 68.

Very Creative and cool.

Ty

Wow, that is beefy. Nice piece.

I will PM you to discuss that template. I think I would be interested in having one of those made. Thanks a ton.

Hey Ty,

Nope, Vertigo has a personal meaning for me. About 3 years ago I came down with some strange inner ear virus that literally had me spinning for months off and on with Vertigo. No cure. No antibiotics. Just had to deal with it. Pretty miserable time in my life. So this is to help me never forget (not that I would!). Ha.

Yeah I was wondering who would notice the Marquez 69 lights cut out for the 68. We don't think we have seen anyone else do that. We told Pascual about it at SEMA when we saw him and he really liked the idea. And we got rid of the trunk keyhole there (electric kit) and centered the gas cap hole for a cleaner look.

Thanks for the compliment!

I have a pic here where you can see it.

Lower bolt hole is the pivot, the upper bolt is the slot for adjustment. It has a somewhat narrow adjustment range but with the right size belt you only need it to move a little bit to achieve proper tension.

Haven't blown up a single belt with the new bracket. With the ATI setup with the idler pulley I would get about 400-500 miles of life out of a v-belt before they would start to split badly; first high RPM zing in that condition would result in a grenaded belt.

I still have the CAD drawing of it. You can print it out to scale and use that for a template or CNC it if you want to go that route. Eventually I'll remove mine and lighten it up some with a few speed holes & pockets, it's way beefier than it needs to be. I only made it out of 3/4" aluminum plate because that's what the ATI bracket is and keeping it the same thickness allowed me to reuse their spacers & pulley.

Hey, tried to send you PM but said your inbox is full.

I think the single stripe is cool. I have a friend with a '70 Camaro with a single stripe like that, unique yet works with the car.

Going to be a killer car.

Going up there next week for the first time in months to actually see the car and paint in person. Apparently the camera phone pix don't do it justice!

Gotta dial in the rear end measurements to get the tire/wheel fitment just right.
