Its a D1SC so I plan on running 10+ lbs but doesn't the corvette bracket use the factory serpentine system, then it would only be a 6 rib system that I could use. You'd have to change all the accessories to 8 rib or you'd have to move it out even more.

The 6 rib will not support 10 lbs of boost. Procharger sells all the pullies to make your system 8 rib. I really think the ZO6 kit would fit in your car. If I can fit it into a 5" ride height 63 nova both with tire and radiator clearance, I'm sure it should fit in yours. It was tight in brians but it can happen. What is your plan on intercoolers.

If you need some pricing let me know. Procharger will also sell and mock up unit so you can finish fab and then send back the housing and have all the guts put in. Just call me at the shop tommorrow.

Show me pictures of your procharger with corvette brackets with 8 rib pulleys.
they don't list the 8rib on there website.

It looks no different than the unit on Brian or Johns. The spacers are just about a 1/4" longer to compensate for the 2 extra grooves.

Do you have any plans on the intercooler?

I understand it only gets spaced out some more but what about the alternator, power steering, and water pump they all need the 8 rib pulleys also. The water pump isn't grooved but it probably should be wider also.
Do they make a kit for this??

ironworks 03-25-2008 06:59 AM

Of course they sell the 8 rib stuff for the other. The water pump does not have to change.

Instead of running a small pulley on the supercharger for more boost, you can buy a larger crank pulley from ECS. ECS makes them for the corvette system.

What part of the corvette system would not work or fit on the camaro?

The power steering pulley might hit the upper control arm mount or the AC pump might hit the frame.
