Love those fisk wheels, how much cash should I put aside for 2-17x8 and 2-17x11?

I would say in Texas you should be able to get it done for around 8K it just depends on what your metal is like and how much is done right, 6k is not enough to do the body work you need with alignment and other things. First things firts you need to strip the car down to the metal and seal it, from there you can start all the body work and metal work.

We will not touch a car if we do not strip it and you can see some samples of why not here. http://www.feslerbuilt.com/Wallofshame.htm

Like the guys here are saying 6K will not be right and you get what you pay for so the more you pay usually if you go somewhere good the better the job is. Ask for some guys up here if they know somewhere in Texas to get a good paint job, ask around and get references to make sure you are going somewhere that does it right. You need to know

How they prep, body work, what they use, metal work and so on, check out the shop if its clean and the work looks good you are probably at a good shop. Good luck

6k noway - not for a good job. I would say 12k body and paint ...no floors or firewall

Location matters but, Pete and Jake are right.
$6k minus paint and material leaves +/-$5k divided by an "average" shop rate means this car HAS to be completed in +/-60 hrs.
Jake is right on with an estimated 175-225 hrs and Pete is dead on $12k.
You spend alot of hard earned money for good parts to have a cool car... DO NOT cheap out on the last and most important aspect..... Paint / body.
Do it once and make it right.

The Owner Of The Car Agreed To Spend Now About $8-10,000:)

Plan on spending about 4500-5000 for materials alone.

with all the nice parts on that car it would be a shame to have anything less then a paint job to match.

Think about it- when we see a car at a show we want to look at closer- its the paint that draws you over- no one has ever walked up to a car close because they saw some killer body work before the paint....dont scrimp on the largest part of what is seen....

Location is everything! I called a guy here locally in SoCal a couple weeks ago and he wanted 3k just to spray a new hood! Granted this guy is really good at what he does but 3k just for a hood! I almost fell of out of my car.
