Hey Rich, drop me a PM please.

Why not log online remotely and tune the car? Much better than passing files back and forth via email. The classic FAST box could do this, the XFI should have that function as well. Your IAC look high enough for cold start, so it is probably a fueling issue. I'm guessing the delay to cold start enrichment. I usually have the best luck getting into the after start enrichment tables a soon as possible. If the cranking fuel is so rich you have to delay the after start fuel, then cut back on the cranking fuel. it is a very fine line. As you move the IAC numbers, it also moves the crank fuel required, etc. try a nice fast start idle and get the settings close, then work your way backwards to a decent starting idle and keep the fueling to match.

It may be able to be done that way, but I am not sure I can figure it out being as internet savvy as I am :willy: As far as computers, I can tune, send e-mail and post on forums. Heck I just recently learned how to post pictures :D As to extra processes and such, show me how and I will give it a shot. I have done quite a few tunes via e-mail data and programs and seems to work well in the end. I am sure there are better ways and to me the best way is in person. Thanks. Mike Norris |
