What is the difference between the Fesler 2nd gen Hinges and these? I see the heim joints are gone. Why, I thought that was what made them better than Fesler's. That seemed to be what they bragged about. It sure looks allot like thiers. Please explain.

The reason these hinges don't have adjusting heims is because of the weight of the second gen hood .They would require a much larger heim and there just isn't enough room. Fessler doesn't have their hinge out yet. If you look at ther auto cad hinge drawing wich is displayed in the open position you will notice your hood wood only open a few inches . They still have a few issues to work out. This hinge was tough one. It has taken us over a year and many modifications to perfect it . We will continue to use the adjusting heims when possible .

they're awesome Mike. Most people have no idea how long it took you guys to develop the hinges; one little change affects everything, tons of trial and error and I'd imagine a pile of aluminum wasted.............. I'll be calling you this week to order some bolts.

Those bolts / washers are just killer aren't they Jody? Were going to be offering them as a upgrade option in highly visable areas in a Total Car Fastener Kits. I think it will make those kits that much tricker.
