Its going to be a strange hybrid. 2006 Charger meets 1969 1/2 Coronet Super Bee. Either way it will be wicked.

Wicked good yaaa.... :unibrow:

Anybody have some input?

I'll bite, I see in the pic it's converted to a 2-door... this will make or break the car. If you can pull off a good balance of door length, and rear quarter window proportions, it'll look good, if not, it'll detract from the rest of the car. The concept looks great :)

I agree getting the doors right and the new nose right will be the deciding factors. Otherwise, it looks to be an awesome car to top the last build.

My input: invest in a proper rendering. The idea looks fine in photoshop or on paper, but a good, thought out rendering will help predict what's possible and what's not. Now I'm not necessarily saying you should hire me. John McBride, Mike Desmond, and Jason Rushforth are great artists and could do the concept justice as well. I think good planning very early on is key, especially with the drastic changes in the front end that you have planned.

Just my 2 cents!

Ideas? I don't think it needs to be that radical. The two door conversion and some minor tweaking is plenty. Add the right hood scoop, side accents, wheels, stripes, maybe a retro spoiler--and call it done. Leave the new Charger nose alone. The tail panel could use some love or leave it alone.

thanks guys, before we invest in a "rendering" we just wanted to get a feel for the car. Make adjustments to our liking then get the actual models done up. Thanks for the input!

I think the wheels will be important. Personally, I'd to see some nice modern wheels, like a Fikse, rather than the retro style.

Modern wheels definately. I think the headlights of the new Charger should be kept but do blend in the grille to match them. And as stated the doors may be a problem. If the Charger was never intended on being a 2 door, you will need to reinforce the hinge area to make up for the added weight. Or make the door lighter some how.
