well if your gonna widen might as well go more than an inch

Has any one actually gotten a 335 on an 18x12 into a minitubbed '67 / '68 Camaro or Firebird with a G-bar / AirRide setup? I know there is more clearance on a '69, but I don't know if a '67 or '68 allows enough clearance.
