What he said...

You need to mount the seats that thier LOWEST position. I cut off the extra ears on the front of my sliders to get a close to the floor as possible.

Be forwarned that if you get the power option from Recaro the seats sit almost an inch higher. That's why I went manual with Penny.

My Recaros are bolted to the factory location.

He defiantly knows about what he speaks. I have the power option which I like but I'm working on getting the seat height lowered even if I have to cut the floor out. I'm to tall at the standard electrical height. (6'2")

Great Seats though.

I found where my Recaro seats worked best for me and bolted them in as low as I could get them and there's no adjustment. I'm not too worried about the seats not being in the right spot for other drivers. :D And nobody rides in the back seat, so that's not a concern for my case, but I can see where that would be something that needs to looked at.

Ok, it looks as though I need a little more help. I ordered the sliders quite a while back. I just got the Wedge Engineering bracket this week (just doing the driver's side for now). I seem to be missing something though; I can see how to attach the sliders to the seat, but I don't see how I'm supposed to attach them to the bracket.

Do I have the wrong sliders, or am I just missing something?

Looking at this image, I see ears coming down from the sliders.

Is that the difference between the sliders with and without height adjustment? If so, it looks as though I should have gotten the ones with.

Because like Steve said you are going to cut them off and mount them as close to the floor as you can. Camaros dont have a lot of headroom so you dont want to lift the seats

I've emailed Speedware Motorsports with the pics, and explained the problem. Hopefully they'll get back to me soon, and won't charge me too much of a restocking fee for the exchange.

Ok, a while back now I got the sliders with height adjustment, and installed the driver's side seat. Got rid of the seat I'd gotten in 1996 at a Pick N Pull from an '84 Firebird.

So much work to do, and money to be spent. But the seat is very nice. Getting the passenger's side in isn't really a priority, since I never have any.
