I hear you man. It's easy for me to say with mine 15 feet away from me right now. I know what it's like to be in your shoes. Waiting and waiting. Economically I couldn't agree more. I am just so damn picky!!!

There is a middle ground and that's to find something close and go from there and change stuff. |
I agree with finding something close and making changes to personalize it.
However, I would suggest finding one with a well documented build. I've heard a lot of stories about cars that looked real nice only to end up being sculpted out of bondo. Good luck! |

And no, you don't build these cars for investment purposes. Finding that middle ground and buying someone else's completed or near-completed project can be a great way to go. I am just bitter my car has taken so long and is still not done (can ya tell?) :D |

Good times! :willy: |
I feel your pain. These long builds are tuff.

After being part of a major build from scratch I have to say that good things come to those who wait. These cars are about 3 times as much work as most would ever imagine. I should say to do them right. It needs to look great and be reliable. Parts are so unpredictable. Custom costs alot of money and doesn't bolt on guys. My three cents for the night.:D
