This post illustrates my only observation:
Consider a "D" wheel. I have Corbeaus in a '68 Camaro and I really have to weave below the wheel and around the kidney supports to get in my car. Although not tiny, I'm 5'10, 200lbs. I currently have a Raid! Dino 14" wheel. I'll be going to a D soon so I don't feel like I'm straddling the wheel. Just throwing that out there. Quote:

I, personally, went with a Budnik wheel for my 69 Camaro - love the look and the finish. It's a split-grip wheel - the back half of the wheel and the hub is all brushed aluminum, and the front half is leather. It's a VERY nice wheel to hold onto.
I purchased the Budnik CV-1: http://www.hotrodhardware.com/cartim...rd_lg_1150.jpg -Adam |
My vote is LeCarra. I've owned a bunch of wheels and the LeCarra is a good look. I want a split wheel next, the idea of leather on one side is intriguing. But the LeCarra is a classic good look, good price, find able, and the adapter is made by a few different companies these days.

What size wheel should I get?
What’s too big & what’s too small? |

The Lecarra comes in 15 and 14 inch. I have the 14" wheel, not too big or small. |
yea 13.5" smallest 14" perfect! 15" too big

I think they are trying to get away from the 10"-chain steering wheels that are popular with low riders. I was thinking 14" was the minimum, legally but this is a vague memory. |
