I agree, 800,1200,1500,2000 block then perfect it 3000 compound, then perfect glaze.

Switched to a yellow wool pad, and color sanding scratches are no more. The white waffle radiused pad from 3-m was not cutting down enuff even after 3 whole passes. 1 pass at around 1800rpm nice and slow and it was resolved.

However now that it has sat a week I think I will wait another week or so and see how she looks after the paint has had some time to shrink, etc... and re-evaluate if it needs another sand/cut/polish pass. I am thinking it will need more attention and if so will do it by hand this pass.
