Since there is already 2" of snow on the ground here, winter project time has officially started.

On the OneLap car I need to pull the transmission to find out what is going on there, I am going to replace my fuel line with solid line, I am going to tidy up some of the things that were hurried for SEMA, and when the transmission goes back in I want to rework the exhaust to get a bit more clearance. I need to work on the traction control so that we can start dialing that in and I need to work on some programming of the IQ3 and add some sensors here and there.

I also need to start on my wife's car - a factory '67 RS that will be getting an ATS Chicane-LM subframe conversion and probably one of Speedtech's torque arm rear suspensions.

Winter's here are really long...

Hope to put a couple thousand on my car this winter. :D Had to do it.

My first order of buisness is to tear the interior out of my cuda, cover the door panels and quarters in leather, new custom made carpet, block and reclear the entire car, tuck the rear bumper etc. Also just started another 69 camaro.

I've got some changes going on for the Chevelle, stuff that if I had a "do-over" would do differently. ;)

Ideal plans include a lot of metal work:

quarters,
rear bumper work,
tail panel replacement
shaved drip rails,
floors,

we will see how much I can actually get done...

That's what my A/C and fuel routing is all about too.

Here's some advice for any car builder that eventually wants air conditioning: do it first. The evaporator, compressor, drier, and condenser locations should all be worked out before putting in custom firewalls, floors, and roll cages. Maybe everybody knew that but me. :faint:

I don't have a lot planned, just little things like hiding the coils, getting an Auto Meter in-dash digital shift light, etc. I'm also thinking about being proactive with a new clutch. But I think my main focus is to finally finish off the inside of my garage.

What's keeping you busy this winter?

Winter, what's that?

Cool Thread Topic

Nice thread Scott!! Unfortunately for me though winter brings the bad weather which severely impacts my work, which means a ton of OT.

My plans though when I don't have to work is start fabbing the core support and air intake, fab and the dash, send it to Ironworks for headers & exhaust, button up all the loose ends and hopefully have to Jim (aka Mr. Smoothie) by Spring to finish up the paint. Don't hold your breath on that one though
